Battersea skyscraper
I did not know there was this building on the Thames. I like its shape, almost organic. The green muddy picture is from the riverfront.

Avid reader
I have always been an avid reader. This is my current bookshelf. I am very ashamed of its state!
The bottom shelf has broken a few years ago for the weight. Of course my solution was to pile the books in an unorderly fashion at the bottom.
When I was little I used to stop in front of lamp posts, fascinated by the letters engraved on them. Things like “Municipality of …” or “Danger! Electricity” were what I was musing on. I could not read but was sure those were very important messages as someone had made the effort to engrave them in metal or stone. My parents had to call me several times as I was literally spending hours trying to decypher those signs!
Nowadays I am still an avid buyer of books although I not always finish reading them.
